Hot off the presses: Just minutes ago, Dee Thomas, Director of Content Services at DerbySoft, was honored by HEDNA for her many contributions over the years to our industry and to HEDNA. The trade organization’s president, Rajesh Vohra, surprised her with the announcement during a general session in front of many long-time industry friends and colleagues at HEDNA’s North American conference held this year in San Diego. Starting her career at Worldspan, Dee later held significant roles at Pegasus and then Lanyon before coming to DerbySoft, where she is overseeing the development of the next generation of hotel content distribution services.
In addition to her involvement in several HEDNA committees and working groups over the years, Dee was elected to and served three terms on the Board of Directors for HEDNA, and throughout those six years, she made it her mission to spearhead HEDNA’s educational efforts by driving the growth of HEDNA U and the development of HEDNA U Online. As a result of her work, she has directly or indirectly contributed to the professional growth of countless HEDNA U students over the years.
All of us at DerbySoft are so proud of Dee, and we know that we’re lucky to have her as our teammate and friend. We couldn’t be happier for her to be recognized in such a visible way by her peers in the industry. Congratulations, Dee!
